Ghost Trackers Season 3 Episode 2 The Ghosts of HMCS Haida

  • July 19, 2008

The Ghost Trackers team is back for the third season of their hit show, and in episode 2 they're exploring the haunted history of the HMCS Haida. The episode begins with the team getting a brief history of the ship from their guide, who tells them that the Haida was a Royal Canadian Navy destroyer that saw action in World War II and the Korean War before being decommissioned in 1963 and turned into a museum ship in Hamilton, Ontario.

As the team starts their investigation, they quickly realize that they're not alone on the ship. They start to experience strange phenomena, such as doors opening and closing on their own, footsteps where no one is supposed to be, and sudden drops in temperature. The team is also using a variety of paranormal investigation tools such as EMF detectors, thermal imaging cameras, and EVP recorders to capture any evidence of ghostly activity.

One of the first areas they investigate is the mess hall, where sailors would gather to eat, chat, and relax. While they're there, they start to hear whispers and faint noises coming from the kitchen galley, which is located just off the mess hall. They decide to investigate further and head into the galley, where they find that the EMF meter is going crazy and the temperature has dropped significantly. They start to ask questions using their EVP recorder, and to their surprise, they capture what sounds like a male voice whispering "Get out."

The team then moves on to the crew quarters, where they hope to make contact with some of the sailors who have passed away. They discover that there are two bunks in particular where strange things seem to be happening – one of them has an indentation in the mattress, as if someone is lying there, and the other has a rocking motion, as if someone is sitting in the bunk and swaying back and forth. The team sets up their infrared camera to capture any visual evidence of the supposed ghostly occupants, while they use their EMF detectors and EVP recorders to try to make contact.

Later, the team explores the engine room, which was one of the most dangerous areas on the ship. The guide tells them that several sailors lost their lives in accidents while working in the engine room, and that there have been reports of strange noises and apparitions in the area. As they're investigating, they start to hear banging and clanking noises coming from the machinery, even though there's no one else in the room. They also notice a sudden drop in temperature, and the EMF detector starts to go off the charts. They start to ask questions using their EVP recorder, and they're shocked when they hear what sounds like a voice saying "Leave."

Finally, the team heads up to the bridge, which was the nerve center of the ship. They discover that there are multiple reports of strange phenomena in the area, including the sounds of footsteps and voices, even though there's no one else on the ship. As they're exploring, they start to hear what sounds like someone walking around outside the bridge, but when they look outside, there's no one there. They also notice the temperature starting to drop again, and the EMF detector is going off constantly. They start to ask questions using their EVP recorder, and they hear what sounds like a voice saying "Help me."

Throughout the episode, the Ghost Trackers team captures a variety of evidence of ghostly activity on the HMCS Haida. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, this episode is sure to send shivers down your spine as you watch the team uncover the haunted history of this fascinating ship.
