Ghost Trackers Season 3 Episode 5 The Ghosts of Campbell House
- August 9, 2008
In this episode of Ghost Trackers season 3, we follow the team as they explore the haunted Campbell House in St. Louis, Missouri. Built in 1851, the Victorian-era mansion has a rich history and is a popular destination for ghost hunters.
The team begins their investigation by speaking with the staff and volunteers at the house, who share some of their own personal experiences with paranormal activity. One staffer recounts seeing a dark figure in one of the bedrooms, while another mentions strange noises and footsteps coming from the attic.
As they set up their equipment, the team members start to feel a sense of unease. One of the team’s mediums picks up on a presence in the house, and the team decides to start their investigation in the attic.
Using an EMF detector, the team detects a high level of electromagnetic energy in the attic. They also capture several audio recordings of strange noises and voices, including what sounds like a child giggling.
Moving down to the second floor, the team sets up a camera in one of the bedrooms where the staffer had seen the dark figure. As they review the footage later on, they notice a strange mist or fog appearing in the room that they cannot explain.
In the dining room, the team tries a new experiment using a device called a “ghost box,” which scans radio frequencies for any potential paranormal communication. They receive several responses and are able to have a back-and-forth conversation with what they believe to be the spirit of a former resident of the house.
In the basement, the team uncovers some startling evidence. Using a thermal imaging camera, they detect a distinct cold spot in one corner of the basement. As they investigate further, they find evidence of what appears to be a small child’s handprint on one of the walls.
The team also sets up a music box in the basement, which starts playing on its own during their investigation. They capture several EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) that sound like a child humming and singing along with the music.
As the investigation comes to a close, the team members reflect on their experiences and the evidence they’ve gathered. They believe that the spirits of former residents continue to haunt the Campbell House, and that more research is needed to fully understand the paranormal activity in the house.
Overall, the Ghost Trackers team’s investigation at the Campbell House is a compelling and eerie exploration of one of America’s most haunted locations.
