Ep 7. Ask Me My Name

In the seventh episode of Girls' fourth season, entitled Ask Me My Name, Hannah finds herself struggling to come up with new ideas for her freelance writing career. She decides to attend a networking event where she meets an influential and established writer named Chuck Palmer, who seems to take an interest in her work. However, things take a dark turn when Hannah begins to suspect that Chuck may have crossed a boundary in their professional relationship.

Meanwhile, Marnie's plans to launch her music career take a hit when she discovers that she's been plagiarized by her music partner, Desi. As she tries to figure out what to do next, Marnie turns to Shoshanna for advice, only to find out that Shoshanna has been harboring a secret of her own.

Jessa, on the other hand, finds herself at a crossroads in her personal life when she asks Jasper, an older man she's seeing, to spend more time with her. However, things take a turn for the worse when Jessa discovers his true intentions.

Throughout the episode, the central theme of identity is explored as the characters struggle to define themselves in relation to their careers, relationships, and personal values. As they confront difficult and uncomfortable truths about themselves and those around them, they are forced to consider what it means to truly know oneself and others.
