The book is guarded by enchanted solders, so the duo will use every trick up their sleeves to get it.

In the second story, titled "Hickory Dickory Brian," Goldie, and Bear seek the help of their talented friend Brian. Brian has gotten himself into some trouble with his new clock. It seems to have a mind of its own, and its chimes continue to strike thirteen. Hickory Dickory Brian calls for Goldie & Bear to make the journey to the castle. However, it is not as simple as finding the root of the problem as they come face-to-face with a flamboyant rival, who is responsible for all the chaos. He thinks the clock is the best thing he has ever created, so he casts a spell on it to keep it going. It's a race against time to stop the clock from heralding the imminent arrival of midnight!
