Ep 3. The Gold Knife

Grand Hotel is an American television series that premiered on ABC on June 17, 2019. It is executive produced by Eva Longoria, Brian Tanen, Ben Spector, Oliver Bachert, and Ramón Campos, and directed by Ken Olin, Gary D. and Bill D'Elia. The show is set at the Riviera Grand Hotel in Miami Beach and follows the lives of its owners, staff, and guests.

In season 1 episode 3, titled "The Gold Knife," Santiago (Demián Bichir) deals with the aftermath of the hotel's financial problems, and Gigi (Roselyn Sánchez) invites an old friend to stay at the hotel. Meanwhile, Javi (Bryan Craig) is put in charge of securing the hotel's valuable necklace during a party, and Alicia (Denyse Tontz) discovers a cryptic message that could help her solve the mystery surrounding her father's disappearance.

As Santiago struggles to make ends meet and keep the hotel afloat, he faces pressure from his daughter Alicia to reveal the truth about what happened to her father. Meanwhile, Gigi invites her friend Carolina (Feliz Ramirez) to stay at the hotel, but quickly realizes that they have different views on how to run a business. Carolina is a party girl who loves to have fun and doesn't seem too concerned about the hotel's financial woes, which puts her at odds with Santiago.

During a lavish party at the hotel, Javi is tasked with guarding the hotel's valuable necklace, which is worth millions of dollars. However, things take a turn for the worse when the necklace goes missing, and Javi becomes the main suspect. As he tries to clear his name and find the real culprit, Javi realizes that he may have gotten in over his head.

Meanwhile, Alicia discovers a message from her father that provides a clue about his whereabouts. She enlists the help of her friend Danny (Lincoln Younes), a hotel worker who has a crush on her, to investigate further. As they follow the trail, they come across some disturbing information that puts them in danger and forces them to confront the reality of what happened to Alicia's father.

With so many secrets and lies being uncovered at the Riviera Grand Hotel, it's only a matter of time before everything comes to light.
