Guys With Kids Season 1 Episode 8 First Birthday

Ryan and Sasha's daughter, Maddie, is turning one and the guys are scrambling to plan the perfect first birthday party. Chris, Gary, and Nick all have different ideas for what the party should be like, but they all agree that they want to make it a memorable occasion for Ryan and Sasha.

As they prepare for the big day, each of the guys is dealing with his own set of parenting struggles. Chris is having a hard time balancing work and family, and is feeling guilty about missing some of his son's milestones. Gary is trying to impress his wife by learning to cook for the party, but his efforts don't quite go as planned. And Nick is feeling left out after his wife becomes involved in a moms' group and he realizes he's the only dad in the group.

Despite their individual challenges, the guys work together to make Maddie's birthday party a success. Chris comes up with a creative solution to keep his son close to him at all times during the party, Gary learns to let go of his perfectionism and embrace imperfection, and Nick uses his unique talents to make the party even more fun for the kids.

Throughout the episode, we see the guys grow as parents and learn to support each other through their struggles. They may not have it all figured out, but they're doing their best to be great dads and make sure their kids have unforgettable childhoods.
