Doctor Hank Lawson is a successful emergency medicine physician in a busy New York hospital until he makes a decision that the hospital board doesn't approve of. In his efforts to save two patients at once, a rich hospital beneficiary dies, and Hank loses his job. As if this isn't bad enough, his gold-digging fiancee dumps him when she finds out, leaving him alone and jobless, drinking beer in his underwear as his furniture is repossessed.

Second 'Royal Pains' Season To Boast Guest Stars From 'My Boys,' 'Dexter,' and 'That '70s Show' Alumni

It looks like a couple new roosters will march into the Hamptons hen house this summer when USA Network's "Royal Pains" kicks off its sophomore season June 29. Concierge doctor Hank Lawson's (Mark Feuerstein) brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) could have his hands full soon keeping a couple fresh faces from the women in his life.

USA Network Releases Summer Schedule Including Two New Series (Watch 'Royal Pains' Promo)

This morning USA Network released it's highly anticipated schedule for summer returns. In addition to providing premiere dates for hit shows "Royal Pains," "Burn Notice," "White Collar," and "Covert Affairs," the network also announced two new original series.

June 7 will kick off the summer lineup with the fifth season premiere of "White Collar" followed by the return of "Covert Affairs.
