To achieve a midcentury modern look, Jasmine uses a neutral color palette of white, gray, and warm wood tones. She also adds pops of color with bold geometric patterns and vibrant artwork. To maximize the living space, Jasmine removes a wall that separates the living room from the kitchen and replaces it with a large island that doubles as a dining table.

In the kitchen, Jasmine updates the cabinets with shaker-style doors and adds a unique backsplash made of hexagon-shaped tiles in different shades of gray. She also installs a custom-made floating shelf made of reclaimed wood and adds a kitchen island with a built-in wine fridge.

In the living room, Jasmine creates a custom-built TV stand that doubles as a room divider. She also adds a floating bookshelf that showcases the couple's collection of books and accessories. To tie the whole space together, Jasmine adds wood paneling to the walls and installs new hardwood floors.
