Ep 2. The Read-Through

Ricky, Nini, and the rest of the East High drama club gather for the first read-through of their school's production of High School Musical. As the cast reads through the script, tensions rise as the lead roles are assigned.

Nini, who had assumed she would play the lead role of Gabriella, is surprised and disappointed when her ex-boyfriend Ricky is given the part of Troy.
