Ep 13. Three Days of Snow

Ted and Barney are eagerly anticipating a tradition they have come to call "Barney's Legendary Snow Challenge." However, the plans for the challenge are put on hold when a snowstorm hits New York City and Marshall and Lily become stranded in their airport. Meanwhile, Ted and Barney use the opportunity to have a "Marshall-Lily free" weekend, and decide to hit up every bar in the city. As their night of barhopping progresses, Ted begins to worry about a potential hookup he has to cancel due to the snowstorm, while Barney struggles to maintain his "playboy" persona in the face of his own loneliness. Back at the airport, Marshall and Lily must navigate the awkwardness of being stranded with their old college friend, "The Blitz," who is notorious for missing out on amazing experiences. As they wait for their flight to resume, the three reminisce about old times and discuss the missed opportunities in their lives. As the storm continues to rage on, the gang's paths converge and they are forced to confront their own personal "blitzes."
