I Love Lucy Season 5 Episode 6 Homecoming

Lucille Ball is back for another episode of I Love Lucy, this time in season 5 episode 6: "Homecoming." In this episode, we see Lucy and Ricky return to Lucy's hometown of Jamestown, New York for her high school's homecoming street parade.

Upon arrival, Lucy finds out that her old high school flame, Tom Emory, is going to be the grand marshal of the parade. Ricky quickly becomes jealous of Tom and tries to outdo him in every way possible.

Meanwhile, Lucy's parents, the Carmichaels, are eagerly awaiting their daughter's arrival. Harry, Lucy's father, is hoping that Ricky will help him sell some of his homemade medicine while Lucy's mother, Mrs. Carmichael, wants Lucy to participate in the homecoming beauty pageant.

As Lucy's hometown prepare for the parade, she decides that she wants to enter herself and Ethel into the parade with a float of their own creation. Ricky and Fred are put in charge of constructing the float, which leads to a series of mishaps and comedic chaos.

As the parade begins, Lucy's float does not go as planned, leading to an embarrassing moment for Lucy and Ethel. However, they quickly turn things around and end up winning the competition.

Throughout the episode, we see relationships develop and old wounds resurface as Lucy and Ricky revisit Lucy's hometown. There are touching moments as well, such as when Lucy visits her old high school and reminisces about her past.
