Ep 6. Hella Blows

Issa and Lawrence struggle to adjust to their new lives after their break-up. Issa is still trying to find a job and is in a bit of a funk. Meanwhile, Lawrence is enjoying his newfound single status and is exploring his options.

The episode begins with Issa and Molly meeting up at a club to celebrate Molly's birthday. Issa is happy for her friend but can't help feeling a little jealous of her seemingly perfect life. Molly, on the other hand, is feeling the pressure to settle down and start a family, especially given that she's about to turn 30.

As the night goes on, the group meets a few guys, including one who catches Molly's eye. They hit it off right away and end up going back to his place. However, things don't go as planned when he's unable to perform, leaving Molly feeling disappointed and frustrated.

Meanwhile, Issa runs into her ex-boyfriend Daniel, who she cheated on Lawrence with. Although she's still attracted to him, she tries to keep things platonic. However, Daniel has other ideas and ends up kissing her, leaving Issa feeling conflicted.

The next day, Lawrence hosts a brunch with his friends, including Chad and Derek. They discuss their dating lives, with Chad boasting about his success with women and Derek expressing his frustration with his lack of success. Lawrence is somewhere in the middle, enjoying his single life but also feeling like something is missing.

Later, he meets up with his friend Tasha, who he previously had a one-night stand with. Although he's not interested in anything serious with her, they end up hooking up again. However, Lawrence is left feeling unsatisfied and unsure of what he wants.

Back at work, Issa is feeling the pressure to find a job, especially given that her lease is about to end. After a failed interview, she meets up with her friend Kelli, who offers her a job at the leasing office of her apartment complex. Although it's not her dream job, Issa decides to take it.

That night, Molly opens up to Issa about her frustrations with dating and feeling like she's not where she thought she would be at 30. Issa encourages Molly to take some risks and not settle for less than she deserves.

The episode ends with Lawrence alone in his apartment, staring at his phone. He's not sure what he wants, but he knows he's not happy with his current situation. Issa, on the other hand, is starting to feel a sense of purpose in her new job. As for Molly, she's determined to take Issa's advice and start living life on her own terms.
