The young woman, who was injured in an accident while serving on a Navy ship, was charged with desertion and disobeying orders after leaving the hospital against medical advice. She claims that she was only trying to do what was best for her health, but the prosecution sees it as a betrayal of her duty to the Navy.

As her hearing approaches, Harm and Mac dig into Lt. Austin's past, hoping to find a way to prove her innocence. They discover that she was once a star athlete with a promising future until a car accident left her blind in one eye. Despite this setback, Lt. As the trial proceeds, the defense and prosecution present their cases, each painting a different picture of Lt. Austin's actions. With the help of Harm and Mac, Lt. Austin makes a stunning revelation that could change everything.
