As the crew continues their exploration, they are ambushed by Dragos and his minions. A fierce battle ensues, but the crew is eventually able to gain the upper hand and escape with the data they collected. However, Dragos manages to use a secret weapon to destroy the planet shortly after the crew escapes.

Back on the Starfire, the crew analyzes the data they collected and discovers the location of Zephyr's base. They set a course and prepare for a final showdown with Dragos and his forces. The episode ends with the crew ready for battle and determined to prevent Dragos from obtaining the energy source and using it for his evil purposes.

"Secret of the Ancients" was a thrilling episode that showcased the show's strong science-fiction and action elements. The exploration of the ancient civilization and their technology added an interesting element to the episode, and the battle between the Starfire crew and Dragos' forces provided plenty of excitement.
