Ep 12. Romancing the Crone

In the twelfth episode of the first season of Jessie, titled "Romancing the Crone," the Ross kids come up with a plan to get their beloved nanny Jessie (played by Debby Ryan) out of the house so they can throw a party without her interference. Their plan is to set her up on a date with Tony, the doorman of their building, so they can have the apartment to themselves.

However, things don't go according to plan when Jessie finds out about the scheme and agrees to go on the date as a way to win Tony over and make him a valuable ally in the building. Jessie puts on her best outfit and gets ready for her date, but when she meets Tony, she realizes that he's not exactly the man of her dreams. Tony is a little older than Jessie, and he's also a huge fan of a cheesy daytime soap opera called "The Havoc Files."

Despite Tony's strangeness, Jessie decides to give him a chance and goes on a St. Patrick's Day themed adventure with him. Along the way, they encounter an older woman named Agatha (played by Carol Burnett), who tells them about a magical emerald that will grant them three wishes. Jessie and Tony set out to find the emerald and, along the way, they encounter various obstacles and adventures.

Meanwhile, the Ross kids are throwing their party back at the apartment. Emma (played by Peyton List) invites her crush, Caleb, to the party and tries to impress him with her dancing skills. However, things quickly go awry when Ravi (played by Karan Brar) accidentally turns on a hazardous machine in his efforts to impress a girl from his building.

As the party gets increasingly out of control, the Ross kids become worried that Jessie and Tony will return to find chaos and destruction in their apartment. They set out to clean up the mess before Jessie and Tony return, but their efforts are complicated by the appearance of Agatha, who shows up at their door looking for the magical emerald.

The episode culminates in a chaotic and hilarious finale as the Ross kids try to clean up their mistakes and keep Jessie and Tony in the dark about what they've been up to. Jessie and Tony return from their adventure with a newfound appreciation for each other, but will they be able to forgive the Ross kids for their antics? The episode is a fun and lighthearted romp through the ups and downs of dating, friendship, and partying, with plenty of laughs and surprises along the way.
