Despite Christina's promise that they will be completely safe, things quickly spiral out of control and the kids soon find themselves in a deadly situation.
The episode opens with Emma, Zuri, and Ravi excitedly preparing for a day out with their dad, Morgan Ross, and his new girlfriend, Christina. Their plans are soon derailed, however, when they arrive at Christina's escape room company and find themselves trapped in a panic room. Christina assures them that it's all part of the game, but things take a darker turn when they realize they're not alone in the room.
As the kids try to solve the clues and escape the room, tensions between Christina and Morgan begin to rise. The kids soon realize that the escape room game is not just a harmless activity - someone is out to get them. With time running out, the kids must work together to figure out who is behind the dangerous game, all while keeping their cool and keeping their panic attacks at bay.
Meanwhile, Jessie and Bertram are left to deal with a new puppy that has been left in the apartment. Bertram is less than thrilled with the new addition to the household, but Jessie sees it as an opportunity to teach the kids about responsibility. As they attempt to train the stubborn pup, they also find themselves caught up in the dangerous game that the Ross kids are playing.
