The animals find it ridiculously easy to hide from the explorers, until Simon the explorer invents a mega-compass that can find any object that the explorers set their dial to. It's suddenly a lot harder for Munki, Trunk and Tallbert to avoid being seen, until Munki makes a fake replacement compass that leads the explorers wildly astray.
