Kath & Kim (AU) Season 4 Episode 3 - Work

In this episode of Kath & Kim, we find our favorite mother-daughter duo struggling to navigate the traditional workforce. Kath has decided to go back to her old job in the real estate business, while Kim is running her own coffee cart with her new friend, Sharon. Their attempts at work are hit with numerous obstacles and challenges that are typical in the Australian job market.

At her real estate job, Kath learns the art of the upsell and attempts to persuade a client to buy a property that she really does not want. However, her efforts backfire when the client assumes that Kath herself is interested in buying the property and starts to aggressively pursue her. Meanwhile, Kim's coffee cart is struggling to attract customers as the drinks are just not up to scratch.

Things take a turn for the better when the ladies support each other in their respective careers. They both realize that they need to help each other succeed as they are one another's biggest cheerleaders. And so, Kath helps Kim upgrade her coffee cart and Kim helps Kath with her sales pitch.

Throughout the episode, we are shown the usual hilarious hijinks that Kath & Kim are known for. They both constantly find themselves in awkward situations that leave us laughing out loud. Whether it is Kath still trying to navigate the internet or Kim attempting to create the 'perfect' coffee blend, there is never a dull moment with these two.

Overall, Work is a classic episode of Kath & Kim that showcases the lengths that this pair will go to in order to succeed in their careers. Despite their differences, they both come together in the end to achieve their goals, reminding us all that supporting each other is always the best way to succeed.
