Hyacinth is horrified at the thought of having to introduce the girlfriend to her neighbors and tries to hide her from everyone.

As if things could not get any worse, Hyacinth's neighbor, Emmett, injures himself and ends up staying at her house to recover, much to Hyacinth's dismay. She is convinced that Emmett will ruin her perfect Christmas plans with his boisterous behavior and lack of social graces.
