Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 10 Episode 18 Baggage

Baggage is the eighteenth episode of the tenth season of Law and Order SVU. In this episode, the SVU team is called to investigate when a man is found dead in his apartment. The victim is identified as a baggage handler at a local airport and it becomes clear that he was murdered. The investigation kicks off when the team interviews the victim’s ex-girlfriend, who says she last saw him the night before he was killed.

As the investigation continues, it is discovered that the victim had a tumultuous relationship with his ex-girlfriend, who possibly still held some jealousy towards him. Instead, they find that the victim had been smuggling drugs through a courier service associated with the airport where he worked, putting him in the center of some violent and dangerous crime.

Throughout the episode, other guest stars that are a part of the story line are introduced, including comedians Kathy Griffin and Gilbert Gottfried. Griffin plays a feminist comic whose show the victim's ex-girlfriend appears on, causing some tension among the SVU woman. Meanwhile, Gottfried portrays a passenger who becomes involved in the case when it’s discovered he was a one-time victim of the criminal ring that the victim was involved with.
