When Deputy Chief Charles Patton and Detective Tutuola respond to a call from a woman who claims she was raped and tortured by a masked intruder, they are immediately put on high alert. The victim, a young woman named Jenna Fox, tells the detectives that she was attacked in her own apartment while she was home alone. She explains that the attacker tied her up, blindfolded her, and then subjected her to hours of torture, including beatings, sexual assault, and other acts of violence.
As the detectives start to investigate Jenna's case, they quickly realize that they are dealing with a highly skilled and dangerous criminal. The attacker left behind very little physical evidence, and what little they could find was inconclusive. Meanwhile, Jenna struggles to cope with the trauma of her assault, and the detectives work to support her and help her heal.
As the investigation continues, the detectives uncover a chilling connection between Jenna's case and a series of other brutal assaults that have taken place around the city. They begin to suspect that the attacker is using these crimes to draw attention to himself, and that he is planning something even more sinister.
As the detectives race to catch the attacker before he strikes again, they find themselves drawn into a complex web of deceit and violence. With the stakes higher than ever, they must use every tool at their disposal to uncover the truth and bring the attacker to justice before he can unleash his next act of violence.
