Ep 4. Revenge

When a woman is found brutally assaulted in Central Park, the detectives of the Special Victims Unit are called to investigate. As they delve into the victim's past, they discover a web of lies and secrets that may hold the key to the identity of her attacker.

Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the SVU team are shocked to find out who the victim is, and quickly realize that the case is far from simple. With no known suspects and a victim who seems to have no enemies, the detectives must rely on their intuition and experience to catch the culprit.

While investigating the case, Benson finds herself struggling to come to terms with her own past trauma. As she delves deeper into the case, Benson begins to see herself in the victim and realizes that she'll need to confront her own demons in order to find justice for the young woman.

Meanwhile, Carisi (Peter Scanavino) struggles to balance his new role as an ADA with his loyalty to the SVU team. When tensions rise between him and Benson, Carisi must decide where his loyalties lie and how far he's willing to go to protect his friends.

With time running out and the pressure mounting, the SVU detectives race to solve the case and bring the perpetrator to justice. But as they uncover more and more evidence, they begin to realize that the attack may not have been random at all. In fact, it may be part of a larger, more sinister plot that threatens the safety of the entire city.

In this gripping episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Benson and her team must use all of their skills and experience to catch a predator who's determined to get revenge at any cost.
