Ep 14. Ritual

The show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit follows New York City detectives of the Special Victims Unit as they investigate crimes of a sexual nature. Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Casey Novak (Diane Neal) is struggling with the case as well. She is under pressure from her superiors to make an arrest, but she knows that they do not have enough evidence to make a case against Baba.

As the investigation draws to a close, the detectives finally uncover the truth about what happened to Ese. They discover that her murder was not the result of a juju ritual, but rather a case of jealousy and revenge. The perpetrator is someone who was close to Ese and felt threatened by her.

The episode ends with the perpetrator being arrested and brought to justice. The detectives are left to contemplate the ways in which cultural beliefs can sometimes lead to tragic outcomes. They vow to do their best to understand and respect the different cultures that make up their city in order to prevent such tragedies in the future.
