The Night Before Chaos-Mas / Counting on Victory is the fifteenth episode of the animated TV show, League of Super Evil. The episode follows the exploits of the titular League consisting of four villains, Doktor Frogg, Red Menace, Voltar and Doomageddon.
In the first half of the episode, The Night Before Chaos-Mas, the League receives an invitation to the annual holiday party thrown by their arch-enemy, Captain Justice. The League, however, is not exactly known for their party-going skills and decides to study up on what is expected from them at this event. They brainstorm various ideas, ranging from taking over the party to simply blending in, but none of them seem to satisfy the super-villains. Doktor Frogg then has an idea to check out Santa Claus' Naughty and Nice list, so that they can see what Captain Justice might want for Chaos-Mas. After making a deal with a demonic creature named Lucius, the League is able to access the list and learn what Captain Justice desires for the holidays. With this knowledge, they set out to find and obtain the items on the list.
In the second half of the episode, Counting on Victory, the League decides to participate in an evil Olympics event. The event is called the Villain's Challenge, and all of the top super-villains from around the world are competing. The League is excited about the competition but knows they are going to have to bring their "A" game if they're going to win. Their first challenge is to escape from an impenetrable prison, and they quickly realize that they need to work together if they're going to pull off the escape. Once free, they must then cross a treacherous canyon, avoiding traps and trickery from their competition. Finally, they must retrieve a rare magical artifact from the depths of a dangerous cave, being mindful of the booby traps that await them. With skill, strategy and some good old-fashioned villainy, the League makes it past all the challenges and wins the Villain's Challenge.
The Night Before Chaos-Mas / Counting on Victory is another entertaining and humorous episode of the League of Super Evil. The contrasting storylines of preparing for a holiday party and competing in an evil Olympics event provide a well-rounded episode, showcasing both the humorous and action-packed aspects of the show. The animation and voice acting are both excellent, delivering a high-quality production that will appeal to kids and adults alike. Overall, it's an episode that fans of the show won't want to miss.
