Ep 5. A Line in the Sand

After a daring escape from the hunted Jungle Temple, the ninja team continued their quest for the remaining stone elements and headed straight to the Desert of Doom. Their next destination was the pyramid, where they were supposed to find the next stone. However, a huge sandstorm made it difficult for them to navigate, and they found themselves lost in the desert.

During their journey, the ninja team discovered a small village, inhabited by desert people who were fighting against the Vermillion Warriors, seeking for control of their village. The Red Warriors had already set up camp and were planning to drill for an unknown resource in the village. The ninja team took it upon themselves to help the villagers and put an end to the Red Warriors' plans.

While planning their attack, Ninja Jay stumbled upon a mysterious old man who was meditating in the desert surrounded by sand mandalas. The old man invited Jay to join him and revealed to him that the Vermillion camp was located under a huge sand dune, and their drill was looking for a powerful crystal that is said to grant its possessor ultimate power. However, obtaining the crystal would be catastrophic, as its power could easily destroy the village and the desert along with it.

The ninja team, with the help of the villagers, implemented a plan to stop the Vermillion Warriors. They built a wall of bricks around the Vermillion Warriors' camp and successfully trapped them inside. Though the Vermillion Warriors were powerful, with the ninja team's help, the villagers finally succeeded in overthrowing and defeating the Vermillion Warriors and their leader, Commander Blunck.

With the Vermillion Warriors beaten, the ninja team investigated the drill and found the coveted crystal. With the help of their new ally, the old man from the desert, they realized that the crystal was actually a trap from the Hands of Time, a group of evil villains who had previously disrupted the flow of time. The Hands of Time had always wanted to possess this crystal to overthrow the chief Time Keeper, who had locked away their powers and imprisoned them in time. If the crystal fell into the wrong hands, it would ultimately give its possessor ultimate power and could destroy the fabric of time and the universe as we know it.

The ninja team had to decide what to do with the crystal, after considering all the possible outcomes. In the end, they made the difficult decision to destroy the crystal, ultimately saving the universe from the Hands of Time's evil intentions. With their mission accomplished, the ninja team returned to their quest for the remaining stone elements.
