Ep 4. Prison Baby Picking Golf

The couple has to reveal their identity and submit to search protocols before entering the prison. However, they end up getting more than they bargained for when they meet a female inmate who claims Greg fathered her child during his visit to the prison two years ago.

In the third story, Heather, played by Betsy Brandt, and Tim, played by Dan Bakkedahl, learn a valuable lesson about honesty and integrity. They agree to watch a friend’s dog while he is away and are given strict instructions to ensure the dog takes its medication. However, during a moment of weakness, Tim gives the dog a treat without the medication. Guilt-ridden, Heather insists they pick up a new dose from the veterinarian, only to learn that the dog was faking its illness and the previous medication wasn't necessary after all.

The fourth and final story, "Babyproofing," sees Joan seeking revenge against her annoying neighbors. She's disturbed by the constant noise of the neighbors' baby monitor, and Pam, played by Pamela Adlon, suggesting she baby proofs the house. Taking Pam's advice seriously, Joan goes overboard with the baby proofing, covering up all the sharp corners with bubble wrap and cushioning the stairwell with a mattress. However, when she attempts to sell the house, her extreme baby proofing comes back to haunt her.

Overall, season 1 episode 4 of Life in Pieces delivers a memorable experience with its well-written jokes and creative storytelling. The show upholds its reputation as a laugh-out-loud sitcom, leaving the audience eagerly waiting for the next episode.
