Ep 16. Pageant Bike Animals Jerky

In Life in Pieces season 3 episode 16, titled "Pageant Bike Animals Jerky," the Short family has a lot going on -- as usual.

First up, Joan gets roped into judging a beauty pageant, despite her protests that she doesn't want to judge girls who "look like they're wearing their mother's makeup." Greg takes her place when she backs out, but things quickly spiral out of control when he's drawn into the drama of the pageant world -- including a stage mom who's willing to do whatever it takes to make sure her daughter wins.

Meanwhile, Heather and Tim have a run-in with the law when they're stopped by a cop while they're on a family bike ride. It turns out they're not following the rules of the road -- or even wearing helmets -- but the cop's punishment is a little more creative than they were expecting.

Sophia, the family's youngest member, is dealing with her own problems when she discovers that her beloved pet turtle has gone missing. John and Joan help her conduct an investigation, but things get even weirder when they realize that the turtle may have had a secret double life.

Finally, Matt and Colleen are trying to make some extra cash by selling homemade beef jerky. However, their plans are derailed when their product attracts the attention of some uninvited guests -- an entire pack of animals, who seem to have taken a liking to the jerky.

As usual, Life in Pieces packs a lot of humor and heart into this episode, and the family's hijinks will leave you laughing from start to finish.
