Ep 9. Four Short Fairy Tales

Life in Pieces season 4 episode 9, titled "Four Short Fairy Tales," features four different storylines that intertwine with each other.

In the first storyline, Greg and Jen are trying to find a babysitter for their daughter Lark. They ask Joan, Greg's mother, to babysit, but she reneges at the last minute because of a bad experience with a bird as a child. They then turn to John, Greg's father, who is more than happy to babysit Lark. But when Lark starts crying, John's neighbors accuse him of causing a disturbance and call the police.

The second storyline centers around Matt and Colleen, who are struggling to come up with a name for their unborn child. They turn to Tim, Matt's brother, for advice. Tim suggests the name "Rowdy," which doesn't sit well with Matt and Colleen. They eventually settle on a name, but not before considering Tim's suggestion once again.

The third storyline involves Heather and Tim, who are trying to renovate their backyard. They ask Joan for help, but she proves to be more of a hindrance than a help. They then turn to Jen, who comes up with a brilliant idea to convert their backyard into a fairy garden. Meanwhile, Sophia, their daughter, is trying to win the heart of a boy named Gavin by giving him a gift.

The fourth and final storyline centers around John and Joan, who are trying to overcome their fear of roller coasters. They try to convince each other that they're not scared, but eventually give in and decide to go on a roller coaster together. But when they finally get on the ride, they realize that they're both too scared to even open their eyes.

Throughout the episode, the various storylines weave in and out of each other, as the characters learn important lessons about family, love, and overcoming their fears. "Four Short Fairy Tales" is a heartwarming and hilarious episode that showcases the best of the Life in Pieces series.
