Limitless, the CBS show that aired in 2015-2016, is a thrilling, action-packed drama that pushes the boundaries of science and technology. The show follows Brian Finch, played by Jake McDorman, a struggling musician in New York City who discovers a mysterious drug called NZT-48 that unlocks the full potential of his brain, enabling him to access every neuron and synapse of his brain, essentially allowing him to become the smartest person in the world. Armed with this new-found knowledge, Brian embarks on a journey to help the FBI solve complex cases.

Jennifer Carpenter, known for her role as Debra Morgan in Dexter, plays Special Agent Rebecca Harris, the lead FBI agent responsible for investigating Brian's involvement with NZT. Initially skeptical of Brian's claims, Rebecca slowly begins to realize the extent of Brian's abilities and decides to partner with him in order to solve some of the most puzzling cases the FBI has ever encountered.

Hill Harper plays Special Agent Spelman Boyle, Rebecca's partner who initially sees Brian as a liability. However, he eventually becomes a close ally to Brian and Rebecca, helping them navigate their way through difficult situations.

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio plays Nasreen "Nas" Pouran, a former CIA operative who becomes Brian's mentor and guide in his quest to both master the effects of NZT and use his abilities for good. Her tough love approach helps Brian stay grounded and focused, while also pushing him to reach his full potential.

Perhaps the biggest star of the show is Bradley Cooper, who has a recurring role as Eddie Morra, the character he played in the 2011 movie of the same name. Cooper's character is the one who originally discovers NZT-48 and becomes a billionaire as a result of his newfound intelligence. His collaboration with Brian is often tense, as he tries to use Brian's abilities to further his own agenda.

Colin Salmon plays Jared Sands, a former military intelligence officer who becomes the ruthless CEO of a black-market NZT organization. His interactions with Brian and the FBI lead to some of the show's most intense moments.

Georgina Haig, Lio Tipton, Ron Rifkin, Blair Brown, Megan Guinan, Tom Degnan, Michael James Shaw, Desmond Harrington, Michael Devine, Michelle Veintimilla, and Sipiwe Moyo round out the supporting cast, each bringing their unique perspectives to the world of Limitless.

Throughout the show, Brian uses his abilities to help the FBI solve complex cases and get to the bottom of some of the biggest mysteries in New York City. His intelligence also enables him to handle difficult situations with ease, but his reliance on NZT-48 also puts him at risk of addiction and makes him vulnerable to those who seek to exploit his abilities.

Overall, Limitless is a pulse-pounding thriller that combines elements of sci-fi, action, and mystery to create a unique and captivating viewing experience. With a talented cast of actors, mind-bending plot twists, and stunning special effects, the show is a must-see for fans of fast-paced, high-intensity television.

Limitless is a series that is currently running and has 1 seasons (22 episodes). The series first aired on September 22, 2015.
