Bugs Bunny then tries to cheat by taking a shortcut, but he ends up getting lost in a maze. Meanwhile, the turtle continues to move steadily towards the finish line. Bugs Bunny eventually manages to find his way out of the maze and is shocked to see that the turtle is about to cross the finish line.

In a final effort to beat the turtle, Bugs Bunny starts running at incredible speed and manages to reach the finish line first. However, it is revealed that the turtle had already crossed the finish line before him, and Bugs Bunny had only run past a decoy finish line that the turtle had set up as a trick.

The episode ends with the turtle being declared as the winner of the race, while Bugs Bunny accepts his loss and congratulates the turtle on his victory. Overall, the episode delivers a valuable lesson about the importance of perseverance and strategy over brute force and speed.
