With the foxes gone, the plantation is returned to the southern rabbits.

After the victory, the southern rabbits thank Bugs and Colonel Shuffle for their help. Colonel Shuffle then challenges Bugs to a game of poker, which Bugs agrees to. Bugs, being the expert he is, easily wins the game and leaves with his newly acquired winnings.

The episode ends with Bugs continuing his journey down the Mississippi River, hoping to find more adventures along the way.

"Mississippi Hare" is a classic Looney Tunes episode that features Bugs Bunny using his wit and charm to not only save himself but also help out a group of southern rabbits in need. The episode is full of action and humor, making it entertaining for both kids and adults alike.
