Lost Treasures

Lost Treasures is an investigative documentary program that aims to uncover the truth about certain once famous items that have vanished over time. Often classified as adventure archaeology, the series chronicles fabulous journeys, painstaking research, and in depth searching for mysterious artifacts that have valuable properties and possibly much more. The series offers up a different journey as the centerpiece of each episode and explores the often tedious process of separating fact from fiction.

  • The Players 1966-1968. Goes in-depth on NFL Film's first try at sound recording as well as the purchase of new high tech equipment.

  • The Beginning. 1962 - 1965. Program focuses on the winning bid of the 1962 NFL Champoinship Game, filming the game and presenting it to the League's owners and the subsequent creation of NFL Films.
