Mike and Danny are a gay couple who have been living in their current home for over a decade. While they were happy with the space when they first moved in, their needs and style preferences have evolved, leaving them feeling cramped, uninspired, and in desperate need of a larger, more functional home.
Enter designer Hillary Farr and real estate agent David Visentin, two experts who will work to help Mike and Danny decide whether to love their home and stay put or list it and find a new one.
Hillary sees potential in the current space, but knows it will require a major renovation to meet the couple's needs. She plans to open up the main living area, create a functional kitchen with plenty of storage, and add a much-needed third bedroom.
On the other hand, David takes the couple on a tour of some larger, move-in ready homes that meet their wishlist items, including a modern-style home with an open floor plan, a large backyard, and multiple bedrooms.
As the renovation progresses and the house hunting continues, tensions rise and emotions run high as Mike and Danny struggle to choose between their current home and new possibilities. Will they love it and stay, or list it and move on to something better? Tune in to find out.
