Lucky Romance Season 1 Episode 2 Episode 2

Jung Hwan and Soo Ho's past continues to haunt them in Lucky Romance season 1 episode 2.

The episode starts with Soo Ho (played by Hwang Jung-eum) telling her best friend, Ae Ran, about her dream of meeting the ideal man. She goes on to explain that her dream man will be born in the year of the tiger and have the surname Byun. Ae Ran responds by pointing out that such a man may not even exist. Meanwhile, Jung Hwan (played by Ryu Jun-yeol) is still regretting his action of rejecting Soo Ho's lucky charm from their childhood. He decides to look for her charm, but after searching for hours, he finally realizes that he has misplaced it.

Soo Ho's company is in the process of developing a new Love Alarm application but is facing some issues. They need the help of the very developer, Jae Hyun (played by Lee Soo-hyuk), who they fired previously. Soo Ho meets with him but is not able to convince him to come back to the company.

Later, Soo Ho's father makes an appearance. He expresses his displeasure about the delay in the new Love Alarm's development and the company employees' seeming indifference to the deadline. Soo Ho stands up to him but is reprimanded in return.

Jung Hwan finally finds the lucky charm, but it has been smashed beyond repair. He is heartbroken and devastated that he has let Soo Ho down. He decides to take matters into his own hands and develops a new lucky charm to make up for his mistake.

Meanwhile, Soo Ho discovers that the ideal man from her dream does exist, and his name is Byun Kang Chul (played by Lee Chung-ah). She begins to pursue him, but he rebuffs her attempts at a date.

As Soo Ho struggles to win over Kang Chul, she remembers something from their past. In elementary school, a boy with the surname Byun had saved Soo Ho's life. The boy had told Soo Ho that his name was Kang Chul, and a dream was born.

As the episode comes to a close, Jung Hwan presents Soo Ho with the new lucky charm that he has created for her, and Soo Ho finally comes to terms with the fact that the ideal man from her dreams may not be the perfect match for her.
