Ep 7. Caitlyn's Day Out

Magical DoReMi follows the story of three ordinary girls, Doremi, Hazuki, and Aiko, who transform into witches in training to learn magic and earn magical badges. In season 1 episode 7, titled Caitlyn's Day Out, the three girls encounter a new girl in class named Caitlyn who ends up being the niece of a famous actress. Caitlyn's Aunt has planned a day out for her with VIP access to all the latest attractions in town. While playing with the dolphins, Caitlyn is surprised by one who seems to be communicating with her. The girls realize that Caitlyn has got the power to speak with animals, which is a magical talent that they have, as witches in training.

The day continues to be filled with fun adventures including a terrifying monster exhibit and a tedious fish-feeding experience. The girls also catch the attention of a classmate, who is convinced that they are witches. The classmate sees them performing some harmless magic, which leads to a comical chase around the aquarium. But the group manages to get away without blowing their cover.

As the day draws to a close, Caitlyn's Aunt joins them to take her niece back home. Caitlyn's Aunt is impressed with the friendship that has developed between the girls and offers to take them all out again. Caitlyn interrupts her Aunt and asks for another day out with her new friends instead.

In the end, Caitlyn returns to her Aunt's car, happy and relieved to have spent a day out with people who cared for her as a friend. As the girls walk away, they realize how grateful they are for each other and that true friendship is more important than a special day out with VIP treatment.
