Ep 9. Lois vs. Evil

In the ninth episode of Malcolm in the Middle's first season, titled "Lois vs. Evil," the central plotline centers around Lois and Hal's attempts to discipline their unruly teenage son, Francis. As the episode nears its conclusion, Francis returns home, having realized that he needs his family and that he can't run away from his problems. Lois, emotional and relieved, decides to give Francis another chance, promising to work with him to straighten out his behavior. Meanwhile, Malcolm and Reese finally manage to get their hands on "Evil Dead" - only to find that it's a total disappointment.
