The sport has evolved over the years and in 2014, NASCAR has Sprint as its main sponsor with its elite level being the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is a 36 week season that sees 43 cars line up each week at tracks all over the country. The sport first started off as mainly a Southern, so called 'good old boys', attraction but now the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Kansas. There is also the original tracks from the early days with locations such as Charlotte, Richmond, Martinsville, and the home of one of the most prestigious races of all time and that is the Daytona 500. The Sprint Cup Series also makes a yearly visit to Indianapolis and its historic track. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has become one of the biggest and most watch sports in the United States because of its nationwide exposure and the fast paced action that is shown on the track each and every week.
