Ep 5. Classic Cinema Cave

In Man Caves season 10 episode 5, titled Classic Cinema Cave, host Tony Siragusa and licensed contractor Jason Cameron team up to create a movie lover's dream man cave. The client, a married film buff named A.J., wants an authentic classic cinema experience in his home.

The episode begins with A.J. taking Tony and Jason to his backyard, where a dilapidated shed sits. A.J. explains that he wants the space transformed into a spot where he can watch movies with his wife and friends. Tony and Jason quickly get to work, demolishing the shed and starting from scratch.

The first step in creating the ultimate classic cinema cave is to install a drop-down movie screen. Jason and Tony choose a 110-inch screen, which they mount on the back wall of the shed. The screen is operated by a remote control that is synced with an Epson projector, which is mounted on the ceiling.

Next up is the sound system. A.J. wants a powerful stereo system that will make him feel like he's in a real movie theater. Jason and Tony install a 7.2 surround sound system, which includes seven speakers and two subwoofers. They also set up a receiver and an amplifier to power the speakers.

To complete the theater experience, Tony and Jason install theater-style seating. They choose six reclining chairs that have cup holders built into the armrests. The chairs are placed on a raised platform in the middle of the room, with a black carpeted floor beneath them.

But A.J. doesn't just want to watch movies in his new man cave - he also wants to display his extensive collection of movie memorabilia. Tony and Jason install custom-built shelving units, which A.J. uses to display his collection of vintage movie posters, autographed scripts, and other rare items.

Finally, no man cave is complete without a designated beverage area. A.J. wants a wet bar where he can mix drinks for his guests. Jason and Tony build a custom bar, complete with a black quartz countertop and a mini fridge. They also install a sink and a faucet, so A.J. can easily clean up after his bartending duties.
