In Man Caves season 11 episode 2, entitled "Roadhouse Cave," hosts Tony Siragusa and Jason Cameron travel to Geneva, Florida to help a family turn their empty carport into the ultimate man cave. The family, consisting of father-of-two Dan, his wife, and their teenage sons, are avid fans of American muscle cars and motorcycles, so they want the space to feel like a vintage roadhouse.
The hosts start by tearing out the old carport roof and replacing it with a new one that looks like a classic tin roof. They then install custom-made barn doors with iron hardware that lead into the space. Inside, they build a massive bar out of reclaimed wood, complete with a beer tap and a brass footrest. On either side of the bar, they install shelving units for Dan's collection of vintage beer cans and motorcycle helmets.
For seating, Tony and Jason design and build a set of three bar stools that look like old motorcycle seats. They also install a leather couch for lounging and watching TV. The TV is mounted on a stone wall that the hosts build, complete with a custom-made sign that reads "Roadhouse Cave."
To add to the roadhouse feel, the hosts also install a jukebox, neon signs, and a vintage gas pump. They even build a fake "garage door" that opens up to reveal Dan's prized 1970 Plymouth Barracuda.
Finally, the hosts add some finishing touches, like a motorcycle-themed pool table, a dartboard, and a vintage payphone. They also bring in some kegs of craft beer and stock the bar with top-shelf liquor.
Throughout the episode, the hosts work closely with the family to ensure that the finished space meets their vision. Dan is thrilled with the final product, saying that it's even better than he could have imagined. The whole family can't wait to spend time in their new Roadhouse Cave, enjoying their favorite pastimes and spending time together.
