The Mad Tea Party Affair is the eighteenth episode of season one of the spy fiction television series, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The show follows the adventures of United Network Command for Law and Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, who work for a secret United States government agency located beneath United Nations headquarters. The show is set during the height of Cold War tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union.

In this episode, Solo and Kuryakin head to England to investigate a new drug with the potential to change the world: a serum that can increase aggression, strength, and longevity with no apparent side effects. The serum is being produced by the mysterious and reclusive scientist, Dr. Egret. The only lead they have is that one of Dr. Egret's assistants, Alice, has gone missing.

The agents soon discover that Alice has been abducted by a group of tea-drinking fanatics who want to use the serum to create an army of super soldiers that they believe will usher in a new world order. The fanatics, led by a man known only as The March Hare, are using a hidden underground lab to synthesize and test the serum.

Through a series of clever moves, including a ruse involving a beekeeper and his hive, Solo and Kuryakin infiltrate the cult and are captured. They are taken to The March Hare and are offered a dose of the serum before being allowed to leave. The serum, it turns out, is only effective for a short period of time, leading to violent and erratic behavior followed by death. The tea party cultists are undeterred, however, and continue to attempt to perfect the serum.

In the climax of the episode, Solo and Kuryakin launch an attack on the tea party cultists and the underground lab. A thrilling shootout ensues, with the agents narrowly escaping death at every turn. The lab is destroyed, The March Hare is defeated, and the serum formula is destroyed.

Back in New York, Solo and Kuryakin meet with their superior, Mr. Waverly, who divulges that they still don't have a clue about Dr. Egret's real identity or whether the scientist was truly involved with the tea party cultists. The episode ends with Solo and Kuryakin contemplating their next mission as Mr. Waverly looks on.

Overall, The Mad Tea Party Affair is a satisfying episode that showcases the blend of action, humor, and espionage that make The Man From U.N.C.L.E. a classic spy series. The episode is a good example of the show's style, with a creative premise, interesting villains, and memorable set-pieces.
