Gong Ki Tae has been stubbornly refusing his mother's efforts to set him up in marriage for years, but his plan to stay single is disrupted when he meets Joo Jang Mi, a woman who is desperate to get married but has been rejected by all her previous suitors. Though they initially get together for a scheme to fake a relationship in order to make Ki Tae's mother back off, their fake romance eventually turns into something deeper.
