The Incredible Hulk is a beloved American television series based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name. Season 1 Episode 10, titled "And the Wind Cries...Wendigo!" sees the green-skinned, muscle-bound superhero Dr. David Bruce Banner (played by Bill Bixby) stumbling upon the mysterious murder of a Prospector by an unknown creature in the woods. The story follows Banner and his friend, Jack McGee (played by Jack Colvin), a tabloid journalist, as they try to get to the bottom of what happened in the snowy wilderness of Canada.

The episode begins with Banner wandering in the forest, trying to find some peace and solitude. However, his plans are disrupted when he comes across the Prospector's campsite and realizes that the man has been brutally murdered. Suspicious of what might have happened, Banner starts investigating the situation while trying to keep his identity as the Hulk a secret.

As Banner and McGee dig deeper, they realize that the creature responsible for the Prospector's death might be a legendary Wendigo. According to an old Native American legend, the Wendigo is a demonic creature that feeds on the flesh of humans and can transform into a beast at will. While Banner remains skeptical, he is soon proven wrong as the two men come face to face with the Wendigo, and the monster sets its sights on them.

What follows is a thrilling chase through the wilderness as Banner and McGee try to escape from the Wendigo’s wrath. Along the way, they encounter a group of hunters who are searching for the creature, and despite their initial reluctance to intervene, Banner and McGee end up joining forces with them to defeat the monster once and for all.

The episode is filled with action-packed scenes that keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The cinematography is beautifully shot, showcasing the natural beauty of the Canadian wilderness. The Wendigo itself, designed by special effects artist Rick Baker, is a striking and memorable creature, making for some exciting visual effects.

The performances by the cast are excellent, particularly Bixby, who portrays Banner's inner turmoil perfectly as he tries to keep his anger under control, knowing that any outburst will result in him transforming into the Hulk. Jack Colvin's McGee provides some much-needed comic relief, while the supporting cast of hunters, each with their own unique quirks and personalities, round out the episode nicely.

Overall, "And the Wind Cries...Wendigo!" is a thrilling episode of The Incredible Hulk that showcases the show's strengths. The blend of horror and action, combined with the stunning visuals and great performances, makes this episode a must-see for fans of the series as well as anyone who loves a good monster story.
