Ep 1. The Avengers Protocol: Pt. 1

The Avengers are back in an all-new animated series, Marvel's Avengers Assemble. In the first episode, titled "The Avengers Protocol: Pt. 1," the team finds themselves disassembled after their last mission, but when Captain America discovers that Red Skull and MODOK are planning to use the Tesseract to take over the world, he must call upon the Avengers to save the day.

The episode opens with a bang as we see the Avengers in action taking down some bad guys. However, it quickly becomes clear that this is a flashback, and we are actually seeing the team in action on their last mission. The mission was a success, but it came with a heavy cost as the team became fractured and went their separate ways.

Each Avenger is seen in a different location, living their life and trying to move on from their past. Tony Stark is seen in a high-end car race, Hawkeye is playing a carnival game, Black Widow is on a mission of her own, Thor is battling frost giants in Asgard, and the Hulk is living in seclusion, trying to prevent any potential damage from his angry alter-ego.

Captain America, in the meantime, has taken a small break from his duties and is staying in a secluded cabin. It is during this time that he discovers that Red Skull and MODOK are planning to use the Tesseract, an all-powerful artifact, to take over the world. Knowing that he can't handle the situation alone, Captain America sets out to assemble the Avengers once again.

The rest of the episode sees Captain America going to each Avenger and trying to convince them to join him on this mission. The Avengers are hesitant at first, but gradually agree to come on board. Captain America even enlists the help of Falcon, a new superhero who has recently hit the scene.

As the team comes together, they must figure out a plan to stop Red Skull and MODOK's evil plan. But first, they must infiltrate Avengers Tower, which has been taken over by MODOK's minions. The Avengers face off against the minions and come out victorious, but not without some collateral damage.

The episode ends with the Avengers standing on the rooftop of Avengers Tower, looking out at the city they have sworn to protect. They now know that they must work together to stop Red Skull and MODOK's plan and protect the world from their evil intentions.

Overall, "The Avengers Protocol: Pt. 1" is an action-packed and thrilling start to the new series. It does a great job of setting up the story and introducing the characters, while also providing plenty of action and excitement for fans of the Marvel universe. If you're a fan of the Avengers, this is definitely a show you won't want to miss.
