In season 41, episode 2 of Masterpiece, viewers will be transported back to the early 20th century as they continue to follow the lives of the Crawley family and their loyal servants in Downton Abbey. But tensions start to rise when one of the servants sets their sights on a promotion, causing jealousy and resentment to bubble to the surface. Meanwhile, Mr. Carson, the butler, must navigate a delicate situation when a famous guest arrives at the estate.
