Allison Dubois, a mother of three and a law intern at the local district attorney’s office, is an extraordinary psychic who can communicate with the dead. In Medium Season 5 Episode 12, named The Devil Inside (2), Allison investigates a series of murders that she believes are connected to a satanic cult.

Allison also discovers that the cult is planning a major event, a satanic ritual that is set to take place in a few days. She believes that this may be the cult’s final act before they go underground, and decides to take drastic measures to stop them.

In the climactic scene, Allison goes undercover and infiltrates the cult’s stronghold. She discovers that they are planning to sacrifice an innocent child as part of their ritual. Allison manages to rescue the child and stop the ritual, but not before engaging in a tense fight with several of the cult members.

In the end, Allison is able to solve the case and bring the cult to justice. However, the emotional and physical toll of this ordeal takes a toll on Allison, and she is left questioning whether her abilities are more of a curse than a gift.

Overall, Medium Season 5 Episode 12 is a gripping episode that showcases the show’s ability to combine supernatural elements with a strong sense of realism.
