Ep 3. Episode 3

In Misfits season 1 episode 3, the focus is on Nathan (played by Robert Sheehan) and his immortality. We see him jumping off a building to no ill effect, much to the shock of Kelly (Lauren Socha), Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett), Alisha (Antonia Thomas), and Simon (Iwan Rheon). Nathan, however, seems more interested in trying out various ways to die, including sticking a fork in a toaster and wrapping a plastic bag around his head.

Meanwhile, Simon is trying to build up the courage to talk to his crush, Sally (Alex Reid). He sees her at the community center where they are all doing community service and gets a glimpse of her sketchbook. Impressed by her drawing of a superhero, Simon decides to create a superhero persona of his own. He dons a red hoodie and starts calling himself "The Invisible Man," using his power of invisibility to help people and fight crime.

Curtis, on the other hand, is dealing with the aftermath of his decision to go back in time and prevent his ex-girlfriend from being hit by a car. He's not sure if he's changed the future or if he's created an alternate timeline. His confusion and anxiety about what he's done lead to some awkward interactions with Alisha, who tries to comfort him.

Things take a turn when Nathan's antics lead him to cross paths with a dangerous group of men who are using a local bar as a front for their drug operation. Nathan finds himself in over his head when he tries to make a quick buck by selling drugs on their turf. The men, led by the ruthless and sadistic Donny (Joe Gilgun), come after Nathan and the gang, putting them all in danger.

The action ramps up as the Misfits try to protect themselves and take down the drug dealers. Simon's invisibility proves to be a valuable asset, and Curtis, Alisha, and Kelly work together to come up with a plan to fight back. Nathan's immortality becomes both a blessing and a curse as he continues to put himself in harm's way.

As always, Misfits balances its dark and serious themes with humor and wit. The interactions between the characters are both hilarious and poignant, and the action sequences are intense and thrilling.
