Ep 3. The Shadow of the King

The reigns of the three children of Henry VIII are chronicled in this episode beginning with the brief reign of Edward VI which was followed by the bloody reign of his sister Queen Mary I, who attempted to restore Catholicism as the primary religion of England. After Mary's death, she was succeeded by her sister, Elizabeth I, who enjoyed a long and successful (though filled with strife) reign.
