Ep 8. Stroll on the Wild Side, Part 2

In the second part of the Stroll on the Wild Side episode, the ever-curious detective William Murdoch is still trying to find out who, or what group, is behind a string of mysterious deaths linked to cross-dressing. This time, Murdoch goes undercover himself to try to get closer to the criminal element in order to get more information.

At the same time, he is dealing with some personal problems. He is becoming increasingly worried about his wife Julia, who has been slipping further into addiction since her miscarriage. He is also grappling with his own feelings for a new woman in his life, Dr. Ogden's sister Ruby, who has come to town to visit.

Meanwhile, his colleagues Higgins and Crabtree are also dealing with their own issues. Higgins is trying to track down a group of counterfeiters who are causing trouble in the city, while Crabtree is still trying to deal with the loss of his fiancée and the possibility that he may never be able to find love again.

As the investigation into the cross-dressing murders continues, Murdoch finds that he is constantly putting himself in danger. He infiltrates a dangerous underground society where men dress as women and attend secret gatherings, only to find that the people involved are not as villainous as he suspected.

It soon becomes clear that the real villains are a group of wealthy businessmen who are using the cross-dressing community as a cover for their illegal activities. Murdoch must use all of his wit and cunning to expose them and bring them to justice.

But as Murdoch and his team get closer to the truth, they find themselves facing new dangers and old enemies. In the end, it will take all of their skills and courage to bring the criminals to justice and protect the people of Toronto from their nefarious schemes.
