Monroe is a drama television series that first aired in 2011. The series follows a neurosurgeon by the name of Gabriel Monroe. The surgeon is considered to be one of the best in his field, but some of his personality traits end up making his relationships with the staff of the hospital difficult. The series follows Gabriel Monroe as he works on cases involving strange neurological conditions, new surgical procedures, and very difficult patients. The series Monroe aired for two seasons with twelve episodes in total. The main character Dr. Monroe is played by James Nesbitt, and the series also features Sarah Parish and Thomas Morrison.
