Ep 13. Instant Restaurant - Redemption Round: Thomas & Carla

In this episode of My Kitchen Rules season 3, we are introduced to the Instant Restaurant, Redemption Round of Thomas and Carla. This dynamic duo had previously been eliminated from the competition but they are back to prove their worth. The episode kicks off with the contestants visiting their Instant Restaurant located in the heart of Brisbane.

As the guests arrive, they are greeted by Thomas and Carla who reveal their menu for the night. The girls are excited to see what the duo has in store as they had previously been eliminated due to some bad cooking decisions. The menu features a variety of dishes that are inspired by their Italian heritage.

The first dish served is an entrée of grilled prawns coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. The prawns are cooked to perfection with nice grill marks and the garlic butter adds a nice punch of flavour to the dish. The portion sizes are perfect and the guests are impressed with the presentation.

Next up is the main course, a slow-cooked lamb shoulder accompanied by roasted potatoes and green beans. The lamb is tender and falls off the bone, the flavour profile of the dish is spot on, and the portion sizes are perfect for a main course dish. The guests are thrilled with the dish as they can taste the effort that has gone into it.

For dessert, Thomas and Carla have prepared a trio of mini Italian desserts. The first is a mini tiramisu that is light and fluffy, with just the perfect amount of coffee flavour.
